Carnival of Twenty Something Finances - 14th Edition

feature photo

Well, well, well, it is a Monday and it is time to kick it off with the Twentys Something Finances Carnival. It appears to be the 14th edition of this carnival, the brainchild of LuluGal of How I Save Money who was kind enough to invite me to host this carnival which I gladly accepted.

I have to say it is certainly exciting to be part of this carnival. My eyes were sure opened to more personal finance blogs by bloggers in their 20s than ever before. I suppose that is part of the curse of turning 30 a few years ago. It is easy to turn a blind eye to the views of our youth. It was refreshing to see some of these entries which I have selected as editor’s pick in BOLD RED.

That’s it. That was all of the entries for this edition. I will tell you I enjoyed reading quite a few of them and plan on visiting them again in the future to comment here and there. It is refreshing to compare what it is like to be in your 20’s in this day and age versus when I was in my 20’s which was between 1995 and 2005.

Interesting times we live in, indeed.

  5. I am very glad to host the carnival.

Simple Nickle - you are right that it is important to be willing to take on financial responsibility through education and action. I think this is true for all ages, no matter what decade you were born in. It is an interesting time for those in their 20’s right now. My 20s were from 1995 to 2005 so I have a different perspective but it is refreshing to see how the 20’s pave the way for the 30s.

Lulugal11 - Please feel free to contact me if you would like me to host this carnival again in a few months. It was certainly fun.

Everyone else who participated, it also doesn’t hurt to comment here showing your appreciation because I use CommentLuv which parses your last post giving you an extra link back to your blog which helps your PageRank and all that hype about links.
