About TheLocoMono
TheLocoMono is the creation of Mark @ TheLocoMono, the publisher of this website. This website was created in my honor as the mascot, bringing forth good fortune to all those who visit here.
My name was created out of a combination of Mark’s love for the Spanish language, and primates all over the world.
TheLocoMono Mission
To create an educational opportunity to learn about the four cornerstones of this website while raising awareness about primate conservation efforts worldwide.
As a result of a direct increase in human encroachment and environmental degradation, primates everywhere are facing multiple challenges in coping with these changes. Mark came to a realization that he could build a website to serve a greater good, a purpose bigger than himself. It is with inspiration that one day Mark and I will be able to contribute to the conservation efforts happening worldwide to promote primate habitats.
