After learning more about permalinks, I managed to change the permalinks to virtually every single article and page posted here on TheLocoMono Website. Kinda dumb of me because I didn’t research this thoroughly so some links may no long be valid.

Allow me to explain.

My wildly popular post, Follow Me was originally posted as

http://thelocomonowebsite.com/12/14/follow-me/

And after realizing this was a dumb visual in my address bar area, I changed it to

http://thelocomonowebsite.com/2007/follow-me/

to give it a test run for a few days to see whether I liked this or not. I decided that made me look a bit more dumber than before so I went ahead and changed it once more to

http://thelocomonowebsite.com/follow-me/

I realized I like that. It was simple and clean. None of the mumbo jumbo in between my website address and my post.

When I went into Google Analytics to check out my traffic report for this month, I realized I may have screwed up so many links to my website because I just used the default settings for permalinks before I decided to change it to a normal permalink.

I am too ignorant right now to find out whether WordPress has installed a natural redirection to the new permalink. I read something about it somewhere but I am being an idiot right now.

In any case, I wanted to send out this post so I could alert everyone visiting this website that the permalinks have changed which may have caused some inconvenience. If that is the case, please accept my apologies for being a monkey. I slipped on a lot of bananas in my time.

In any case, there is a simple solution, the Archives where you can find a detailed listing of all the posts ever written here.

I suppose I could add the search bar but right now because of the present theme and the weakness of the default WordPress search bar, I am not satisfied with putting a search bar in place right now.
