At some point between last night and now as I write this, a light bulb went off in my head.  I was struggling to come up with a way to make my website look more professional and entertaining.

There are two things I need to keep in mind as I write this.

Magazine Layout

The name of the WordPress theme I am using for this website is WP-Magazine 1.0.  (Click on the banner if you are interested in finding out more about this theme.)  Note the word, Magazine.  This is what makes this theme unique because it is a marriage of blogging and layout.

Writing Style

Just like the magazines you read, if you find an author you like, you will be searching for that author again the next time the magazine is published.  So it is really important for me to take my time and be comfortable with what I am writing about so I can allow my unique voice to appear in my words.

And now for your feedback…

So while you are here, you will be browsing through this website like you are flipping through a magazine.  Three things will jump out to you, the title of the article, the thumbnail used for the article, and the excerpt or better known as the lead-in.
