Thank Goodness It’s Bananas!    

T.G.IB! has moved from its’ Friday afternoon slot to Sunday mornings.  Due to the popularity of weekly roundups on the Internet, I felt it was only appropriate to place my round up on Sunday morning at the same time the Sunday’s newspaper hit the stand.

Success Story: The Trunk Club  Sometimes the simplest ideas are the most effective ideas once you figure out your target market group prefers service over low prices like these two ladies discovered in Oregon.

Invention Aims To Keep Children Safe  I have to give thumbs up to this idea.  Even though I am not a father right now,  I can appreciate the thought behind this invention.  If you have young ones who likes to scramble, check this out.

How to Stumble With Power  A very good article about the power of StumbleUpon which has driven a quite a bit of traffic here.  Another great quality article to add to my 5 StumbleUpon Articles post from September.

I am subscribed to Moolamony and Cash Money Life,  two very good up-and-coming personal finance bloggers who I enjoy reading.  By the way, congratulations to Patrick for breaking the 100 subscriber barrier recently.  Here are some great articles posted recently.

Tax Breaks for Homeowners  I knew this used to be a one-time tax break but I did not know it changed until David mentioned it in his blog.  I will have to do some research into this.  Anyone know about this?

Top 5 Places to Buy Caribbean Real Estate  I am always searching for articles on Caribbean real estate because of my ultimate goal to own a home in the islands someday.  I found it particularly interesting to see the D.R. made it to the top 5 list after vacationing in Punta Cana last spring.

Teardowns: Good or Bad?It is good to read an argumentative article about tearing down an existing home to take advantage of the opportunity to develop a newer home in an established neighborhood.  I myself am an advocate of historic homes but will not hesitate to tear-down an older home with no historic value when it could raise the value of the neighborhood.
