WordPress Quick Tip - CommentLuv
- Are your readers wondering who these commenters are?
- Are you a blogger looking for a way to increase your backlinks?
- Are you a blogger looking for a way to increase commenters on your blog?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, you may be suffering from a lack of CommentLuv. This may or may not be the first commandment for marketing your blog,
It is not about you, it is about them.
Andy Bailey has created a fantastic WordPress plugin that is sure to solve your comment woes. You may be the star of your show, but it is your fans that makes your show the greatest show on cyberspace!
A simple sentence below your comment field informs your commenters that your blog uses the CommentLuv plugin. Once your commenters realizes what this plugin does, they will see their latest posts in the limelight.
With the rise of the ever-popular I Follow movement, many bloggers are becoming aware of the VALUE of turning off the “no follow” which helps increase their commenters’ ability to get backlinks.
CommetLuv takes it one step further for bloggers by adding a second link to their latest posts. See the results of three commenters on one of my posts below.
Can you tell me of a better way to share with the world what your latest readers are saying and writing about at the same time?
Go ahead, leave a comment and see your latest post show up. Be aware it may take a few minutes for your latest post to show up. It is a great way for you to encourage your readers to socialize with your commenters.

This is a great idea. I wish my blogspot could have it. All blogs should have this plugin.
Another great one is so commentors can edit their comments for a few minutes after pressing the submit button - good for fixing spelling.

Coaster, there is a way to edit your comments after pressing the submit button. I have seen it on other blogs. I will have to look into this. Anyone know of any such plugin?

Great minds think alike - I started using this combo as well - and I think I will be expanding it as part of my default wordpress plugins.
